Andy has more than 14 years of experience in accounting, tax planning, and compliance. His areas of expertise include domestic and international tax planning and compliance for businesses and individuals. Andy has previously provided consultation and extensive services to businesses in technology, entertainment, venture capital investment funds, real estate, and service industries. 

Prior to starting his own practice in 2015, Andy served as a Senior Tax Manager at Oracle Corporation in Redwood Shores. Prior to that, he had served as a Tax Manager with a CPA firm in San Francisco and with the International Tax Services Group of Deloitte Tax LLP.

Andy received Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Chinese Studies from UC San Diego. He has also received Master of Science in Taxation, Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, as well as an LLM in Chinese Business Law from Hong Kong.

Andy is a licensed CPA in California. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant and an Enrolled Agent who is authorized to practice in front of the IRS. Andy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California CPA Society, the American Bar Association, and the San Francisco Bar Association.
